I love your blog, it is so interesting. I particularly enjoyed Bill Gates talk on TedxTalks. A little worrying that having a Masters Degree makes very little difference to teaching, but I am sure as teachers, we already suspected as much. Thanks for posting these interesting videos
Hi Isaac, Welcome on board the magic online schoolbus. Lots of thrills and spills in store.
I have to say listening to the fast talking "More passion, less pedagogy" TED talker, and after hearing and seeing the first few minutes of the pedagogical DNA that a recurrent theme song is becoming very familiar - factory production schools and the desparate need for creativity, passion, innovation and inspiration and so on.
We should not forget that we are the prodgeny and products of those past ignoble pedagogical factories as were our fathers and mothers and theirs before them. Let's not forget we stand on the shoulders of those who who have gone before us. The DNA has produced some very creative people as well as drones.
Come to think of it, I feel like a drone in my current study. My dear old dad escaped the factory at the age of 12 and I'm still in it at my ripe old age.
